Connecting a site to the Pro app

Pro is a subscription per site. It adds the Pro plugin, updates from our own update feed, and the hosted staff app at hyndla.no/gift-cards.
1. Buy and get your licence key
After purchase, find your licence key in your hyndla.no account, in the format
HYN-GC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. The key is shown once in plain text — store it somewhere
safe.
2. Activate in WordPress
Open Gift Cards → Licence in your WordPress admin, paste the key and click Activate. Your site is now connected to your organisation on hyndla.no, and Pro features unlock immediately.
3. Log in to the staff app
Go to hyndla.no/gift-cards and log in with your account. Your shop appears automatically under your organisation — invite staff with the "staff" role so they can redeem cards at the register without access to settings or reports.
What happens if the licence lapses?
After a 14-day grace period, updates and the app stop. The shop keeps selling and redeeming gift cards on the free plugin — nothing stops in the shop itself.
