Reports for the accountant

Because every balance change is a row in an append-only ledger, any report can be calculated for any historical date -- not just "today".
Outstanding liability
Reports -> Liability shows the sum of all outstanding gift card balances on a chosen date. This is the number the accountant needs for the annual accounts: how much the shop owes customers in unredeemed gift cards.
Movements per period
Choose a period and see deposits, redemptions, adjustments and expired amounts grouped by channel (online shop, register) and by location, for multiple locations under the same organisation.
Expired and reactivated value
Cards that pass their expiry date move from outstanding liability to a separate expired value line. If a card is reactivated later, it shows as its own row -- the history always shows what actually happened, in order.
Export
Every report can be downloaded as CSV or XLSX, with the same numbers the app shows -- no rounding or conversion happens in the export.
Multi-currency
A card issued in one currency and redeemed in another stores the exchange rate on that row of the ledger. The report always calculates the correct outstanding amount per currency, never a blended number.
